Kris Goodie is a portrait painter and multidisciplinary artist based in Vallejo, California. Specializing in watercolor and photography, they create intimate portraits that center the lives and experiences of the LGBTQ+ community. Goodie's work explores themes of identity, resilience, and belonging through a muted color palette and a unique blend of washes and drybrush.

In 2023, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, where they received the Wendy Sussman Memorial Award for excellence in painting. Their work has been exhibited across Northern California, including the 120710 Art Gallery in Berkeley. Goodie is currently developing a portrait series featuring transgender and queer individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Sacramento Valley.
