Kris Goodie is a portrait painter based in Vallejo, California. Specializing in watercolor, they create intimate portraits that center the lives and experiences of the LGBTQ+ community. Goodie's work explores themes of identity, resilience, and belonging through a muted color palette and a unique blend of washes and dry brush.

In 2023, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, where they received the Wendy Sussman Memorial Award. Their work has been exhibited across the San Francisco Bay Area, including the 120710 Art Gallery in Berkeley. Goodie is currently developing a portrait series featuring transgender and queer individuals living in Northern California.
