Kris Goodie is a Vallejo-based portrait artist working primarily in watercolor. Their work explores intimacy, desire, and the psychological weight of being seen. Using controlled layering and drybrush techniques, Goodie creates portraits that focus intensely on the gaze and interiority of their subjects. 

In 2023, they earned a BA in Art Practice from UC Berkeley and received the Wendy Sussman Memorial Award for excellence in painting. Their work has been exhibited throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
